Autumn Concert - Saturday, 15th November 2025, 7.30pm - A CONCERT NOT TO BE MISSED

Folkestone Symphony have returned to rehearsal and are rehearsing for the next concert on Saturday, 15th November 2025 at 7.30 pm in Holy Trinity Church, Sandgate Road, Folkestone CT20 2HQ. In addition to the Prince Igor Overture by Borodin and Dvorak's 7th Symphony, the highlight of this programme is the Concierto de Aranjuez by Rodrigo.  We will be joined by Emre Gokalp, a brilliant young British-Turkish guitarist , who has won prizes in several international guitar competitions. David Russell describes him as "a beautiful player with a smooth and agile technique that allows him to express his musical ideas fully".  Unfortunately, Pavel Ralev is indisposed for medical reasons and we wish him a full recovery and thank him for putting us in touch with Emre.  We welcome Emre to play with us at such short notice and very much looking forward to working with him to perform this much-loved, beautiful work.  This really is a concert not to be missed.  Tickets are already on sale and can be bought here.  Please note you will need a PayPal account to buy tickets online.
