Online Tickets now available for Spring Concert - 7th March 2026, Holy Trinity Church, Folkestone at 7.30 pm Folkestone Symphony's first concert of 2026 will be on 7th March 2026 at Holy Trinity Church, Sandgate Road, Folkestone CT20 2HQ. The programme includes Schumann's Cello Concerto featuring Lydia Shelley as the soloist. To start the evening we shall perform a work composed by one of our Vice Presidents, Michael Lewis, entitled 'Overture: Tyrolean Pictures', written especially for us and this will be its First Performance. We shall finish with Tchaikovsky's 6th Symphony, the last one that he wrote. We welcome our followers to join us for this wonderful evening of music. |

Listen to the Recording of the First Performance of Quercus The first performance of Quercus took place at our Christmas Concert on Saturday, 13th December 2025. Quercus was composed by our conductor, Rupert Bond and was narrated by our President, Jan Leeming who is a retired TV Presenter. |

Calling French Horn and Trombone Players We are looking for and would welcome any prospective new brass players but we need French Horn and Trombone players in particular. If you are interested in joining us please write in to office@folkestonesymphony.org with details of your playing experience. Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings from 7.30 - 9.30 pm. |
