Folkestone Prom Concert - Saturday, 19th July 2025

Come and hear Folkestone Symphony perform another spectacular 'Last Night of the Proms' style concert.  In addition to the usual 'Last Night of the Proms' favourites, the programme will include:

• Excerpts from Bizet's 'Carmen' and the Waltz from Shostakovich's Jazz Suite No. 2
• 'Eye Level' from the TV programme 'Van der Valk'
• Film music from 'Born Free', 'Romeo & Juliet', 'The Big Country', '2001 A Space Odyssey', 'E.T.'and 'Lord of the Rings'.
• The film section will finish with a very popular theme.
